Honestly being a taxi driver, for me, would be the scariest job ever. You never know who you are picking up or where you're heading too. Especially when you're cruising through rough parts of town.
Robert De Niro plays a war veteran who begins to work as a nighttime taxi driver. With this he meets many new people, including a very young prostitute (Jodi Foster) who he eventually tries to help out.
Once again, I watched this movie with a friend and the comments going on during the movie were great :) The movie in general however was pretty good. The first hour or so is kind of like a Steven King novel (well, some of them) and just takes you through the character and not much happens, but when things start to happen in this movie...it freaking happens. Jodi Foster was super young in the movie, but looked very pretty and played her role well. I'd recommend it, just beware of a few gory scenes. :)
